I have been making this mushroom khema recipe for a very long time, its taken a while to perfect it, but i have got there in the end. Alot of mushrooms are needed for this, but don’t let that put you off, it is well worth all that chopping.
Bowl of frozen peas
1 large onion
2 large cloves of garlic
7 green chillies (depending on spice level)
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
Heat oil in a pan and add in the blitzed chillies and garlic, let that cook for a couple mins, and then add in the onions, let that cook for a further 5 mins, then add in the peas and add in the salt, let that cook for a further 3 mins and then add in the finely chopped mushrooms (to make it easier i put the mushrooms in a food processor and blitzed).
Once the mushrooms are all in, let the khema cook out until all that water is cooked out and the mixture looks all dry. When the mixture has reached this point you are pretty much done.
You are ready to eat!!
